Argentine Productions is a filmmaking company specializing in historical storytelling, with many projects created for national and state parks. As a creative partner and extension of its production team, I helped shape the Argentine brand while contributing design, animation, graphics, and interpretive experiences to individual projects.
Building and Promoting the Brand
Through logo design, advertising, signage, trade-show displays, print and digital materials, customized proposals, and iterations of websites, I helped Argentine Productions develop and present its own visual identity as it evolved. The goal was to communicate this lean film company's ability to translate history into compelling cinematic experiences.
Mapping a journey through history
For Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park in Coloma, CA, I helped turn a historical migration story into an interactive visual experience.
An illustrated map shows travel routes of people from around the world, drawn by the 1848 gold rush. I designed the map to fit the period and animated a path that uses light to trace the journeys. Visitors can see the scale and reach of the migration at a glance.
Eight kiosk landing pages explore the stories of individual people who made the journey. After researching their histories and editing the content, I designed the pages using photos and real possessions curated by the museum, which added interest.
Titles, Graphics, Animation
Across Argentine Productions' projects, I contributed a range of post-production and interpretive graphics, including animated maps, visual guides, infographics, title sequences, effects, and 2-D animation — elements that support larger historical narratives. My role was to explain movement and geography with clarity, data at a glance, and establish a tone.
